This course gives shipboard and shore-side personnel practical awareness of how to manage, protect, and report maritime data. Using applicable IMO and Canadian requirements, along with relevant privacy, cybersecurity, ESG, and Indigenous data governance frameworks, learners explore how operational, environmental, regulatory, personal, and digital records move from collection and validation to secure use, sharing, retention, and reporting.
