This 60-minute refresher helps deck officers and watchkeepers prepare for heavy weather, restricted visibility, and regional operating risks in Canada. Covering weather monitoring, course and speed decisions, ballast and stability, securing for sea, emergency tactics, and reduced-visibility watchkeeping, the course supports SOLAS, STCW, Transport Canada guidance, the Polar Code, and SMS readiness.
