Marine Environmental Awareness (MEA) – Self - Paced Refresher

This refresher course equips mariners with the knowledge and practical skills to safeguard the marine environment in compliance with IMO, STCW, MARPOL, ISM Code, and Transport Canada regulations. Learners will review the main sources of ship-generated pollution, understand their responsibilities, and apply safe practices to prevent incidents. Through case-based examples, the course strengthens awareness of environmental risks and fosters a proactive shipboard safety culture.
