This course provides awareness-level familiarization with cargo and port-operation hazards, safe conduct, reporting and applicable compliance frameworks. It does not confer STCW competence or certification, cargo-planning/supervision authority, specialist dangerous-goods or bulk-cargo qualification, or lifting-appliance/loose-gear inspection or certification authority. Learners must follow the approved vessel-, terminal-, company-, and jurisdiction-specific procedures that apply to their role.
