Personal & Survival-Craft Survival Refresher is a self-paced maritime course that reinforces the essential knowledge mariners need, from personal preparation and abandonment to survival-craft management, signalling, and rescue. Learners review personal life-saving appliances, safe water-survival principles, liferafts and survival craft, initial actions after boarding, survivor management, survival equipment, communications and locating devices, and cold-water, winter and ice considerations relevant to Canadian operations.
